How much does treatment cost?
Plans start from $188/month with $1,000 down and 0% in-house financing for qualifying patients. Your free exam includes a full cost breakdown, so you'll know exactly what to expect before you commit to anything.
Is the first visit really free?
Yes. Your first exam is a $99 value at no cost to you. It includes a digital 3D scan, a look at your treatment options, and a clear answer on pricing, with no obligation to book anything.
Should I get braces or clear aligners?
It depends on your bite and your lifestyle. Braces work around the clock and handle a wider range of cases. Clear aligners are removable and more discreet, but rely on you wearing them consistently. We'll give you an honest recommendation at your free exam, not just the option that costs more.
What age should my child start treatment?
We recommend a first orthodontic screening by age 7, mainly to keep an eye on how things are developing. Most kids don't start active treatment until closer to 9 to 14, once enough adult teeth have come in. Teens and adults can start treatment any time.
How long does treatment take?
Most patients are in treatment for one to two years, though it varies with the case. Some qualify for accelerated options that shorten the timeline. We'll give you a realistic estimate once we've seen your 3D scan, not a guess.
Do you accept insurance?
We accept most major insurance plans. Our team will check your benefits before you start treatment so there are no surprises on your bill.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Yes. Orthodontic treatment generally qualifies for HSA and FSA funds. Bring your account details to your visit and our team can help you sort out the details.
Do you accept Medicaid?
We don't currently accept Medicaid. What we do offer is 0% in-house financing, so you can start treatment with $1,000 down and a monthly plan from $188, without needing outside credit approval.
What happens if I have an orthodontic emergency?
Call us and we'll get you a same-day appointment whenever possible. Existing patients also have access to after-hours guidance if something comes up outside office hours.
Do I need to wear a retainer after treatment?
Yes. We offer both Hawley and clear retainers to protect your results once braces or aligners come off. Without one, teeth tend to drift back over time, so wearing yours as directed matters. Call our office for retainer pricing.
Do you have more than one office?
We have two Metro Detroit locations: Eastpointe, at 9 Mile and Kelly, and Southfield, in the Amazing Smiles building at 12 Mile and Northwestern. Both offer the same team, pricing, and technology.
