How orthodontic insurance actually works
An orthodontic benefit is not a payment plan. Most plans carry a lifetime orthodontic maximum. That is one fixed pot of money per person, for life, not per year. When it's gone, it's gone, and it rarely covers a whole case.
It reduces the total, not the monthly. Your benefit comes off the overall fee. What's left is what we spread across your plan, which is why two people with the same insurance can walk out with different monthly figures.
Bring your card to the free exam. Our benefits coordinator will read your plan with you and tell you what it does and doesn't cover before you agree to anything, not after the first bill.
No insurance is normal here. Plenty of our patients have none. The in-house plan was built for exactly that: $1,000 down, from $188 a month, 0% interest, no credit application to a third party. We do not accept Medicaid.
“I absolutely look forward to going to my ortho appts. Dr. Kishawn Kole-James is the best Dentist I've ever had. I am very pleased with my teeth so far. The financial part is affordable and they make it possible for anyone to afford.”
